Police Care UK was established as a new brand in 2019 but has been in existence for many years. Previously known as The Police Dependent’s Trust, Police Care UK was formed after the merger of two historical organisations designed to support UK policing.
The difference we are making
Over the course of the year, we have sent surveys to all those who have directly received help from our services. In each of those surveys we asked about what impact the services we deliver had on their lives.
From those who responded, 91% of our beneficiaries said thet life was better because of the support that we provided them with in the last 12 months.
In 2023 to 2024 we raised over £735,000
Which meant we could deliver 12 different services and projects to both individuals and police forces that have supported over 2,900 cases in the last 12 months
Resulting in 91% of our beneficiaries saying that their life was better thanks to our services
What did we do to achieve this difference
Police Care UK has worked on a dozen services and projects which all contributed to changing people’s lives for te better.
All our work links to our three main aims of restoring lives, enabling police forces to do all they can and raising awareness of the harm police face every day.
