Description
A unique opportunity to lead the UK’s national policing charity into its next era of growth, innovation, and impact.
Police Care UK is the independent charity for serving and former police personnel who have suffered harm as a result of their policing role. We provide confidential, practical, emotional, and financial support to officers, staff, volunteers, and their families, ensuring no one is left behind after experiencing trauma in the line of duty.
With over £30 million in reserves and a decade of transformation behind us, we are now poised to scale our services, deepen our impact, and invest in the future of policing welfare. We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer who can lead this next chapter with vision, compassion, and strategic clarity.
As CEO, you will be the driving force behind our strategic direction, operational excellence, and external influence. You will oversee investment in new service lines and innovation in trauma recovery, and represent Police Care UK at the highest levels—with government, policing, media, and academia, whilst ensuring we remain fit for the future.
We are looking for a seasoned executive leader—ideally with experience as a CEO or Executive Director in a mission-driven organization with a track record of organisational growth and innovation, along with emotional intelligence, and a commitment to supporting our Police Officers in their time of need.
This is a role for a leader who can wear many hats—strategist, spokesperson, mentor, and operator. Someone who thrives in complexity, leads with humility, and is driven by purpose.
It is an exciting time to join Police Care UK as we embark on a new strategy to build upon and further refine our services for those harmed in the line of service while protecting us all.
